Continuing my A3 Doodle Project, here is the July doodle. This is a continuation of June’s doodle. I had wanted to do more doodling in June, but I ran out of time, and in July I was traveling for a good part of the month, so I figured I’d finish the doodle I started in June. Since the beginning of this project I’ve wanted to do a doodle that completely filled the page, so at least I’ve finally done that.
For this month I added the smaller orange circles and filled in the remaining space with grey. The orange is Diamine Autumn Oak and I loaded it into a vintage Parker Vacumatic with a wet, Broad nib. The grey ink is my beloved Kobe #53 and I filled a vintage Waterman Skywriter that has a wet but generic 14k replacement nib. Both of these worked great for this pattern and I was able to finish before leaving on my trip!
There’s not much more to say about this since it’s the same as last month, so I’ll leave you with a few extra photos while I figure out what to doodle next. How is is already August!?
