Happy Fountain Pen Day! I’m sure you’ve gotten plenty of emails and posts already celebrating this annual event, but I wanted to jump in with a little something of my own. I don’t think it’s any surprise that a huge part of enjoying your fountain pens is using good paper with them. I’ve been offering my paper sample packs for years now as a way to help people discover the paper that’s perfect for them. Over the years I’ve added and removed different papers depending on what’s available and on the market. That means I have random paper samples laying around that don’t have a home in my current sample packs.
As a way to help celebrate our love of fountain pens (and paper) and also to help move some of these paper samples out of my storage and into the world, I’ll be including an extra paper sample in each sample pack that gets ordered for the rest of the year. The extra sample will be labeled so that you know what it is. One word of warning, though… the paper may be hard to find or no longer made, so if you love it, you may have a hard time getting more of it.
I hope you get to spend some quality time with your fountain pens today, this weekend, and every day for the rest of the year. Happy writing!
