If you tried to visit this site in the past few days, I’m sure you noticed that it wasn’t working. I’m not sure what happened, but some update completely broke the site and I’ve been working on getting it back up and running for the past few days. I think I have everything back to normal now, but I’d appreciate it if you happen come across something that doesn’t seem to be working quite right if you’d leave a comment and let me know.
Also, because I’ve been preoccupied with getting the site back up and running, I’m going to be a little behind on my Ink of the Week posts. I was able to test an ink out last week and have started a new one this week, but haven’t had a chance to do the writeup or take photos for the ink last week. I hope to have it ready in the next few days.
Thanks for your patience and understanding while the site was down. I plan to end the month on a much better note than it started on by bringing you some great posts later this month!
Happy writing!
John

Good luck. I did notice!
Since I tend to read posts through the reader I hadn’t noticed anything wrong. I do know the frustration that comes with a glitch. You’ll be back at it soon enough.
Computers and the Internet are great — until they aren’t. Thanks for letting us know, but it’s OK to take the time you need to catch your breath. We’ll be here.
Your great grey ink comparison page just seems to show what might be JavaScript code. https://fountainpenlove.com/reviews/the-great-grey-fountain-pen-ink-comparison/
Sorry that happened. What a PITA. 🙂
OK, I just opened it in another browser tab within the same desktop Chrome and it looks fine. But I tried refreshing and it goes back to the JavaScript-looking stuff.

Thank you for the heads up. How strange! I’m trying it in a few different browser windows (including incognito) and it’s working fine for me. I’ll keep working on it and hopefully it’s working for everyone in no time!
Hi John! I just was notified that your presentation at the Denver Botanical Gardens has been cancelled for Tuesday, April 18. I am so disappointed! I am wondering if and where you might be giving a similar class that I might enroll in in-the greater Denver area? I will be following your blog but would very much like a refresher course on fountain pens. Thank you!

Hi Margie! I was also bummed when I found it it got canceled. They’re working on the schedule for the next few months, so a class should be in there somewhere. I’m sure they’ll reach out to you once it’s confirmed. Other than that, I don’t do any other classes around Denver other than at the Colorado Pen Show. Hang in there and I’ll see you soon at the Gardens!
Thanks!
