With COVID-19 changing the world and affecting how each of us spends our days, I have had a bit of extra time to wonder how I can help and also spend time testing out new papers. While not all of the papers have been winners, I have found some great ones and am excited to write reviews for them so you can learn about them too! I’ve also come up with a fundraiser idea!
Paper Sample Packs
If you can’t wait for the reviews or just want to try out some new papers, I have good news for you. I am very excited to add some new papers to the Custom Paper Sample Pack! What is that, you may ask? The custom paper sample pack gives you the option to choose 8 samples from nearly 30 different premium paper types. This allows you to customize your sample pack with papers that suit your needs, allowing you to try out a variety of papers before you spend money on an entire notebook.
The new papers that have been added as options to the sample pack are Kokuyo Campus, Yamamoto Cosmo Air Light, Tsubame Note, and Exceed 100gsm. In case you missed it, I also recently added paper from Lamy, Yoseka and Midori MD Cotton notebooks. You can see the full list of papers that are available on the shop page.
COVID-19 Fundraiser
In what I hope is a win-win, I want to offer a little incentive for you to buy a paper sample pack and try out some new papers while you’re spending extra time at home. For the rest of April, I will donate $5 to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy COVID-19 response fund for every paper sample pack that is purchased. There is no limit to the donation amount or to how many paper packs you can purchase. Since organizations need help now, I plan to make a donation every week instead of waiting until the end of the month.
Unfortunately, since I currently can’t go to the post office in person, I am still unable to ship sample packs internationally. If you live outside of the United States and still want to purchase a sample pack and help out, please feel free to do so and I’ll get your paper shipped to you as soon as it is possible. Keep in mind, though, that it may be weeks or even months before that happens. Of course, that purchase will still be eligible for the donation, which I will make the same week of your purchase.
