Can you believe it’s already time for the Colorado Pen Show again? This year the show takes place on October 17-19 in Denver. Once again, I’ll have a table at the show and will also be teaching a few classes.
At my table, I’ll be selling a variety of paper sample packs, and some fountain-pen-friendly notebooks. While I don’t sell notebooks on this site, I always have people who want to buy them at the pen show, so in an effort to add a little variety, I’m bringing some basic notebooks that I haven’t seen other vendors sell in the past.
As in previous years, I’ll also be teaching two different classes. One class will cover fountain pen friendly paper and will include a paper sample pack with the registration: Colorado Pen Show Paper Class Registration.
The other class I’ll be teaching will be a doodle class. This will be somewhat similar to my doodle blog post series and I’ll be going step-by-step through the process of drawing different patterns: Colorado Pen Show Doodle Class Registration. Last year was my first year teaching this class and it sold out, so make sure to sign up soon if you’re interested!

If you can’t make it to the Colorado Pen Show, I also regularly teach classes at the Denver Botanic Gardens. In the next few months I’ll be teaching a Basics of Fountain Pens class and a Journaling for Beginners class. These are great classes for anyone who doesn’t have any experience with fountain pens or journaling.

Unfortunately, I cannot make the Colorado show. Will you be staffing a table and teaching at any other shows this year? I would be especially interested in your Journaling for Beginners class.

Hi Tom, unfortunately I won’t be at any other shows this year. While it’s not the same as a class, maybe I can come up with a blog post that hits some of the main points from my class. 🙂
